in the recent past, the world was covered in a black miasma that came from the very ground we stood on. vile, unspeakable horrors lurk in the mist and take away the very sanity of anyone who comes into contact with them. humanity has been pushed into settlements on the roofs of the high rises they used to live in. the inside of the buildings are full of the insane and unspeakable ghasts.
